Step 3: Document Filing with autoINDEX autoFILER

In the 3rd step vdocs autoINDEX autoFILER is designed to file the scanned documents to the location of your choice.  vdocs writes the required information into the data base and also into the files.

Naming of Documents with vdocs autoINDEX->autoFILER

This vdocs autoINDEX->autoFILER automatically names the documents based on your requirements.  The document can be named based on the information from the scanned document.  Other options are information from your client, customer etc. database or from the zoned OCR information of the document. 

Metadata writer

Used when the captured (source) image format is PDF, this component is used to update the metadata with indexing information.

Imprinting

This component provides for imprinting user defined data onto the ultimate repository image format.

Publish to Computer Folder Structure

Publish to Folder- create user defined folder/file structures using system and workflow variables created during the user defined workflow processes.

In this process the scans have been automatically indexed with the client information that resides in the client Database.  The document was initially only indexed with the loan number and autoINDEX>autoFILER retrieves the other requested information from the database and uses the data to correctly index and file the document.

Publish to Document Management System

vdocs autoINDEX->autoFILER is able to automatically publish to a variety of Document Management Systems like the vdocs Pinnacle Solution (KnowledgeTree® plus autoINDEX>autoFILER) or other Document Management Systems

autoINDEX>autoFILER publishes and files or documents into ODBC compliant databases.  

In addition to this document index criteria like File Name or Invoice number can be published into the Database.
