We always compare our Pricing and Service Offerings to our competitors and we have not found any company that offers these complete High Quality Photo Scanning Services at this Low Pricing.

You only pay for actual scans: 

Other companies charge you for sets of 1,000 scans.  So if you only send 1,700 images, you still have to pay for 2,000.  

Not with vdocs Photo Scanning.  After we scan the photos you pay only for the actually scanned images!

1. Quality Photo Scanning:

Using our High Quality Production Scanners we can provide you great image quality at the best price possible.  All Color Images are scanned at 300 or 600 dpi full color.  600 dpi scan resolution will provide you piece of mind if you want to reproduce or enlarge images.

Option: 2-sided Scanning:  If you have important information written on the back of the photo, we can scan both sides of the photos.

Pricing:

a)  Scanning with 300 dpi, only    6.9 ¢ per image

b)  Scanning with 600 dpi, only    9.9 ¢ per image

Pricing includes burning the images on CD or DVD (depending on required data volume). We always create 2 CDs or DVDs.

2. Correct Image Orientation:

Every Image will be validated and adjusted for correct image orientation.

3. Photo Transfer to your PC

After the photo are scanned you receive access to our secure photo download site.  You do not have to wait for the CD.  With vdocs you have immediate access to your photos after they have been scanned.  Easily you can download the scanned photos to your computer and enjoy.

4. Scanning with Manual Image Adjustment

Get the best out of your images with our Manual Image Correction.   

Note:  The quality will not be as close as the standard scan due to color correction for Brightness, Contrast, Red Eye Removal etc. 

Pricing:

a)  Scanning with 300 dpi, only    25 ¢ per image

b)  Scanning with 600 dpi, only    35¢ per image

5. Small Size Images / Card boad, Pictures

vdocs scans images from 0.5" and larger.  For all images that are outside the default scanning size of 3" x 3" to 11" x 17" or that are printed on card board or on extra thick paper,  we require special handling, cropping and image manipulation.

Pricing:

a)  Scanning with 300 dpi, only    25 ¢ per image

b)  Scanning with 600 dpi, only    35¢ per image

6. Indexing:

Do you want us to custom name or index the photos?  Normally images are named by numbers, like 0001,0002,0003.  We can add information to the scans that you will be able to identify the pictures easier.  Example:  5 Kids School Days 1 001.jpg,  5 Kids School Days 1 002.jpg.

Pricing:

$3.00 per section, unlimited images per section

Example:  You have 600 images, divided in 2 sections.  One section is called "5 Kids School Days 1", the other is called "6 Kids Graduations".  This would be 2 sections with a total cost of $6.00 for customer file naming.

7. Thumbprints:

Get an overview of all your digital prints.   Wth vdocs Thumprint printer prints you can choose between a 24 up or an 8 up.

Prints are being produced on letter size, 80lb coated paper.

$1.50 per thumbprint

8. Photo to DVD:

If you want to see your photo collection on your DVD player?    

vdocs can burn your newly scanned digital images on DVD and create a continuous slide show.    Each DVD contains about 120 minutes of video.  The amount of images depends on scan / image size and the amount of images.  A rule of thumb is that you can place about 400 - 800 images on each DVD with a 7 sec interval to switch from picture to picture.  

Pricing:

$10.00 for 1st DVD, each additional copy:  $5.00

9. Quick Turnaround time:

Normal turnaround time for orders below 1,000 photos is 3 business days, for over 1,000 images 3-5 business days. 

We can provide one-day turnaround time with a $25 surcharge but need to confirm your total volume.  The turn around time does not include shipping time.
